FULL MOON RITUALS

Because the full Moon is considered the “energetic peak” of the month, it’s the perfect time to tap into its power and practice a little self-care and to bring affirmations for a better future. These rituals are associated with nourishment, intuition, and tapping into creativity, as well. The moon can help you manifest your dreams. It may also help you cleanse, release, and heal. So you can use the power of the full moon to set your intentions and goals for the future.

1- Clean your Physical Space

Cleaning your physical space helps to clear out any negative energy, making room for what you are asking to come in. Clear your home of clutter and things that no longer bring you joy. Open the windows to let fresh air in, put on clean bedsheets, wipe down surfaces, or water your plants. Also, you can perform a ceremony with a sage stick to cleanse the negative energy in the air.


2- Ground Yourself

The time leading up to a full Moon can often make people moody, sensitive, and fatigued. It is helpful to use this time to pause and ask yourself how you are feeling physically and mentally? How are your relationships and career? Being in tune with your feelings will help you stay grounded and help you efficiently make positive changes. The full Moon is the perfect time to look inward and recalibrate.


3- MEDITATION & RESOLUTIONS:

Meditate during the full moon as a straightforward full moon ritual. "Finding a calm, serene spot to sit, concentrating on your breath, and allowing yourself to become present in the here and now can all help with this, additionally, you can use this time to make resolutions for the following month or to let go of any unhelpful feelings or bad thoughts."


4. DEEP BREATHING

The pull of the full Moon can often trigger strong emotions and uncomfortable sensations. Engaging in deep breathing can allow you to unfurl these emotions. Turn off your phone and find a quiet place where you can sit and pay attention to the rising and falling of your abdomen as you inhale and exhale. It sometimes helps to place your hand on your heart and belly and take a few deep breaths. Repeat as often as you like to help you relax and ground your body.


5- MANIFESTATION RITUAL:

*Start by lighting a candle, focus on getting present, and letting go of everything spinning through your mind.

*Spend a few moments thinking about what you want to release and what you want to call in.

*Take the paper, and one by one, jot down the things you’d like to manifest into your life over the next month—these are your full moon wishes.

*Place the wish list somewhere special: in a pretty box, for example, or roll up the page and place it in a jar. Then, set it outside to soak up the moonlight.

*In the morning, bring the wishes back inside and place them somewhere you will see them daily. Each evening before you go to sleep, take a look at your list and reflect.

6- Charge your crystals.

Before going to sleep, place your crystals outside. Let them sit overnight under the light of the full moon. "The full moon energy is beautiful for recharging and cleansing your crystals.
